Advancing every opportunity the macadamia DNIS business offers for the South African farmers, as the largest producers of Macadamia Nuts in the world, Harmonie Macadamia(Pty)Ltd has grown over the last 10 years from delivering their own macadamia nuts as grower to local factories to becoming handlers, exporting DNIS directly to China and Vietnam.

The factory, situated at Farm Rietfontein, Alkmaar, Mpumalanga has continued to grow with the market demand as our agent in China has developed new markets for dry nut-in-shell (DNIS) in the far east – Growing from a mere 180 tons per year to 2 200 tons per year – never having carry over stock.

Sourcing raw materials from local Mpumalanga, Limpopo and KZN farmers and importing from Eswatini, Mozambique, Kenya and Zambia, the factory has been upgraded to a fully approved HACCP de-husking and drying facility – keeping up with the latest technology and working towards sustainabiliy and profitability. The factory accepts social responsibility by continually considering the safety and well being of our workers through OHSISA saftey standards and training.

Harmonie Macadamia values every grower delivering to the factory by supplying grading results, year to date reports, negotiating pricing and ensuring 100% payment on pack out.
