Socio-Economic Development Support (Community-based initiatives)

This application form forms part of SAMAC’s Socio-Economic Development Support process.

Application windows are as follows:

  • For 2026 funding: 1 February 2026 – 5 June 2026
  • For 2027 funding: 1 July 2026 – 31 August 2026

Please ensure that you meet the following requirements before submitting the application:

  • The proposed project must support socio-economic development within communities where macadamia farmers and farm workers operate.
  • The initiative should contribute to community upliftment and demonstrate clear long-term community impact and sustainability.
  • Beneficiary organisations/community structures must support and endorse the application.

Applicants are requested to:

  • The beneficiary agrees to provide progress reports, photographs, and supporting information if requested by SAMAC.
  • SAMAC may conduct monitoring visits, inspections, and follow-up assessments relating to the proposed project.
  • The information provided in this application form is true, complete, and accurate to the best of his/her knowledge.
  • The beneficiary organisation/community structure supports this application.
  • In the past five years, the beneficiary organisation, its representatives, or office bearers have not been convicted of any offence involving dishonesty or corruption.
  • The beneficiary organisation and its representatives are not currently involved in any legal proceedings that may materially impact the implementation of the proposed socio-economic project.
